This C5 exhaust system is engineered for low restriction & maximum power. It is slightly louder than stock at idle, yet reaches a deep, powerful exhaust note under acceleration, and generates zero in-car resonance or drone! Designed with PRO/Engineer CAD software. Callaway systems allow optimum mass flow rate while eliminating in-car resonance or "drone" generated by other systems.
Double-D system uses CNC-formed tubes that are mandrel bent for precise dimensions, eliminating restrictive "neck-downs" at bends. Robotic welding is utilized to prevent leaks and enhance appearance. Polished T304 stainless steel is used throughout for maximum corrosion resistance, increased ductility, and extended durability.
